Provides sufficient amount of the essential nutrients, rich in whole grains and fiber.


2. Balance:

Does not overemphasize one nutrient or food. Focus on the basic food groups.

3. Calorie Control:

Eating the right amount of calories to maintain appropriate weight.

4. Moderation:

Does not provide excessive fat, salt, sugar, or other unwanted ingredients.

5. Variety:
